The Cantonal Bank of Uri (UKB) is entering into a strategic cooperation with the solar company Solarify, which operates throughout Switzerland. The bank is thereby strengthening its commitment to sustainable solutions and creating attractive offers for its customers. With this cooperation, UKB is taking a further step in its prudent growth strategy and securing the future of the bank and jobs in Uri.

Thanks to Solarify's extensive network and expertise, UKB can expand its business activities and develop new products and services for its customers. "The partnership opens up a wide range of innovative business opportunities for the bank and customers will also benefit greatly," explains Christoph Bugnon, Chairman of the Executive Board of Urner Kantonalbank.

In future, customers will benefit twice over from various attractive options. On the one hand, they will be able to install solar systems with Solarify on their own buildings without having to make their own investments, and on the other hand, profitable investment opportunities in solar projects will also be available. "Customers and the bank are thus contributing to the energy transition in the canton of Uri and in Central Switzerland," adds Bugnon.

Umbrella partnership with Solarify

Solarify offers an uncomplicated solution for owners who are interested in a solar system but do not want to make any investments or incur any expense. As part of a roof partnership, Solarify takes over the planning, financing, installation and operation of the solar system. Owners can use the solar power themselves at a reduced price or receive a roof premium without taking any risk.

The solar projects are crowd-funded via the solarify.ch platform. The prerequisite for a roof partnership is a building with an area of at least 200 m² in good condition. Solarify has already realized over 100 projects throughout Switzerland, successfully involving many private individuals in the energy transition.

Invest sustainably with Solarify

Solarify makes it easy and profitable to invest in solar panels on Swiss roofs - for private individuals, companies and institutions. Solar panels can be purchased via the solarify.ch platform and investors benefit from the proceeds from the sale of electricity every three months. They achieve an expected return of two to three percent and receive regular reports on their installations. The platform offers an uncomplicated and flexible investment opportunity for a more sustainable Switzerland as well as the option to resell panels at any time.
